Getting started with the Office Editor for Confluence
Take the very first steps to use Office Editor for Confluence.
Installing the app
You can install the Office Editor app from the Atlassian Marketplace by clicking the “Get it now” button on the top right corner of the page.
Using the app
Once the app is installed on your project, you can use it immediately.
Enter edit mode on a page, and type /office editor or select it from the Insert menu to add the macro to your page.
If you have attached Office files, like Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, or PowerPoint presentations, they’ll appear in the Office Editor app. PDF files and Images will also appear. You can edit the macro to make changes to the displayed files and make layout adjustments.
You can expand the preview of each file and click the “Edit” button to start editing Office files.
