1. Editing Office Attachments

   • ikuTeam Office for Jira allows direct editing of Microsoft Office and OpenOffice file formats attached to Jira issues.

   • No file conversion is required; edits are saved in the original file format.

   • Edited files remain fully compatible with Microsoft Office applications and can be downloaded for offline editing.

2. Enabling Change Tracking

   • Change tracking can be activated for any document, similar to the functionality in Microsoft Word.

   • To enable track changes:

     1. Open the document for editing via ikuTeam Office.

     2. Activate the "track changes" feature for all users.

     3. Save and close the document.

   • Subsequent edits will be tracked automatically when the file is reopened.

3. Versioning and Audit Trail

   • Jira Cloud does not natively support attachment versioning. When a file is edited, the previous version is overwritten and cannot be restored.
