Fix ikuTeam Office Access Denied in Confluence

If ikuTeam Office shows an Access denied error, the app user does not have permission to access the Space or the specific Page. This is managed through standard Confluence permissions.

ikuTeam Office runs as a Forge app and is treated as a user inside Confluence. Like any team member, it needs to be granted access to view content.

Fix 1 - Grant access at the Space level

Use this fix when ikuTeam Office cannot access any page inside a Space.

1. Go to the Space where the error is occurring.

2. Click Space settings in the left sidebar.

3. Select Space permissions.

4. Under Individual users, click Add users.

5. Search for ikuTeam Office and select the app user.

6. Grant at minimum View permission.

7. Click Save.

Once saved, ikuTeam Office will be able to access pages in that Space.

Fix 2 - Grant access at the Page level

Use this fix when a specific page has restrictions applied, even if Space-level access is already granted.

1. Open the restricted page in Confluence.

2. Click the lock icon at the top right of the page.

3. Under Viewing restrictions, click Add.

4. Search for ikuTeam Office and select the app user.

5. Click Save.

Once saved, ikuTeam Office will be able to load attachments on that page.
