When the "Replicate storage permissions" option is active, users must authenticate to each folder connected by other users to browse folders and preview and edit documents. This applies to the file manager and macros on pages.

SharePoint Connector Macros on pages

The attached files and folders on macros will show an "Authenticate" button for every item that the user hasn't connected yet, and they won't be able to open folders or view and edit files until they do.

Authenticating a folder/file

  1. Click the "Authenticate" button.

  2. If at least one account is connected from the same storage place, a modal opens where you can choose one or connect to a new place. If there isn't any suitable account connected, the sign-in screen for that account is shown directly.

  3. If the account selected has access to the folder/file, a confirmation will be shown.
