About GitHub Team Links on your issues
The GitHub Team Links app lets you view information on your issues from a GitHub repository without leaving Jira.
Preview GitHub Repositories on your issues
After adding the GitHub Team Links app to your issue, you’ll get access to the content of the connected repository. You'll need to connect one if there isn’t a connected repository in the app setup options.
Available categories
README
Access the README information from the linked repository.
Pull Requests
View all the Pull Requests from the linked repository. You can search content and look for open or closed Pull requests. You can also change the sorting options.
You can click the Pull Request name to view it on GitHub. You can also click the author’s name to view their info or look up associated issues or comments.
Labels
View all the Labels from the linked repository. You can search for specific labels.
Releases
View all the Releases from the linked repository. You can search releases by the release tag.
You can click the Release name to view it on GitHub. You can also click the author’s name to view their info or look up the associated commit.
Issues
View all the Issues from the linked repository. You can search content and look for open or closed Issues.
You can click the Issue name to view it on GitHub. You can also click the author’s name to view their info or look up the associated comments.
Milestones
View all the Milestones from the linked repository. You can click the Milestone name to view it on GitHub.
Additional options
Layout options
For each issue, you can select the categories to display. By default, all allowed categories are selected.
Click the Layout options button to deselect any categories you don’t need.
Open in GitHub
You can open the linked repository directly in GitHub. Click the “Options” menu and select the “Open in Github” option.
Sign out
You can sign out from the GitHub Team Links at any moment. Click the “Options” menu and select the “Sign out” option. You’ll have to authenticate again to view the repository content.
