Copying and moving Confluence pages with Team Files macros [TF CC]

You can now seamlessly copy and move Confluence pages containing Team Files macros within the same space. This enhancement ensures that the macros are copied correctly and remain functional in the new location. This feature simplifies the process of duplicating content while maintaining the integrity of your Team Files macros.

How to Use

Copying Pages with Team Files Macros

  1. Navigate to the Page: Go to the Confluence page that contains the Team Files macros you want to copy.

  2. Select the Copy Option: Click on the ellipsis (...) menu at the top-right corner of the page and select Copy.

  3. Choose the Destination: In the dialog, select the destination space and page where you want to place the copy. Ensure that the destination is within the same space to maintain macro functionality.

  4. Copy the Page: Confirm the action. The new page will have the Team Files macros working correctly.

  2. Select the Move Option: Click on the ellipsis (...) menu at the top-right corner of the page and select Move.

Important Limitation

Moving or Copying Across Different Spaces

The Team Files macros will break if you copy or move pages to a different space. This happens because the parent folders associated with the macros may not be connected to the new space. To prevent this issue, keep copying or moving operations within the same space.
