What changes when "Replicate storage permissions" is selected [TF CC]
When the "Replicate storage permissions" option is active, users must authenticate to each folder connected by other users to browse folders and preview and edit documents. This applies to the file manager and macros on pages.
Connected folders in the File manager
The connected folders will show an "Authenticate" button for every folder that the user hasn't connected yet, and they won't be able to open the folder or make changes until they do.
Authenticating a folder
Click the "Authenticate" button.
If at least one account is connected from the same storage place, a modal opens where you can choose one or connect to a new place. If no suitable account is connected, the sign-in screen for that account is shown directly.
A confirmation will be shown if the account selected has access to the folder.
All done. You can now use the folder according to the permissions set for it.
If the account selected doesn't have access to the folder, an error will be shown with the option to connect to a different account.
De-authenticating a folder
After authenticating to a folder with an account, you can remove the access if needed (e.g., to authenticate with a different account).
Click the "···" button
Click the "Sign out" option
A modal will appear. Click "Sign out" to confirm.
All done. To view the folder's content, you'll need to authenticate again.
