Allowlist Team Files for Jira Data Center

The Team Files app needs access to an external URL to work correctly if you don’t have the “Replicate storage permissions” turned on. This is essential to enable the Microsoft 365 Web apps, allowing you to preview and edit documents in Jira Data Center with the Team Files app. If your Data Center is configured to have limited access to external URLs, you’ll need to add the Team Files URL to the allowlist.

Add to your firewall’s allowlist

To add the Team Files URL to the allowlist:

1. Open your data center’s or network’s management setup;

2. Go to the firewall configuration;

3. Add https://jira.teamfiles.app to the allowlist.
